Do You Really Need to Go to High School

Besides the social aspects of high school such as proms and athletic events what is so important about high school? Back in the day things were actaully taught that could apply to life. Now, burdened down with restrictions and greedy teacher’s unions, high school has become more of a road block to success than a helpful tool. Most people learn to read, write, and spell the best that they will in middle school.
Forbes magazine recently did an article on their website about millionaires who never finished high school. There are some very familiar names on this list such as Jay-Z, George Foreman, and Simon Cowell. These people have become very successful from hardwork and perfecting their crafts rather than sitting around all day studying algebra. So it’s your choice: spend 8 or 9 hours a day acting like you like English Lit and become an educated factory worker or get started on something you love and appreciate and will look forward to doing everyday for the rest of your life.
