In this vast region we call the Internet there are millions, if not billions, of websites for a person to visit. Your website has to stand out for you to even have a chance to generate website traffic or to increase your website traffic. Fortunately, if your website is a WordPress website there are a few tools to help increase internet traffic. These tools are known as plug-ins and are simple little tools that help quite a bit.

WordPress has a whole library of plug-ins that can do such things as automatic updates or backups, post on social networks, or even automatically find content for posting on your blogs. But for this post we will be concentrating on traffic getting plug-ins.

All-In-One SEO plug- in is one of the favorites of WordPress users worldwide. This plug-in gives you the ability to drive traffic to your site by customizing your Meta tags. It’s very easy to use and you don’t need to change any code on your own as it is done by filling in the blanks.

Another SEO plug-in is SEO Ultimate which I personally have not used but comes highly recommended by friends. One of the best features of this plug- in is the Slug Optimizer which lets you optimize the URL slugs of your post and pages.

Google sitemaps is a plug-in that I highly recommend because it creates a sitemap on all major search engines, even though the name implies that it is a Google product. Having a sitemap of your website helps the search engines catalog your site which in turn causes you to have increased web site traffic.

Last and certainly not least is a plug called Free Traffic Getting SEO Plug-In that incorporates these plug-ins and more. It saves you time searching for all the traffic increasing tools and just like the Wordpress plug-ins it is FREE and very easy to use. I recommend you download this one first and then search later for other useful plug-ins.
