Is Paying to Increase Web Site Traffic A Smart Move?
On the internet you can find many success stories but also there are been many more instances of people who didn’t make it. I would estimate at least for every ten success stories there are a hundred unsuccessful ventures.
You may hear some people say that success is through luck but actually it takes only a little luck and some good business sense. Couple that with the determination and will to succeed and you most likely will end up one of the success stories we read about. Oh, I might have forgotten the most important part, hard work and money.
Most of the successful internet sites are not the sites that bring in a few hundred people per day but the sites that bring in thousands and ten thousands of people. Now you might say if you bring in thousands of people of course you will make money. If thousands visit my site and only spend one dollar a day I would be rich. The problem is that not all of the thousands who visit are going to buy anything, so you have to rely on the ones who do buy to make you a profit.
Statistics show that Web Site traffic that comes from pay sources are much more likely to buy than sources from free web site traffic. This is not the case in all circumstances, but generally paid website traffic is usually targeted website traffic. This traffic has been marketed to a certain niche and is going to your website for more information on a service or product.
So the question may still remain is paying to increase web site traffic a smart move? In my opinion unless you have the resources (money) to generate thousands of visitors to your site, no. What I recommend is about a sixty percent effort to generate web traffic by free methods and forty percent web site traffic through paid methods. If you work hard at this ratio you should be able to increase web site traffic slowly but consistently and start making a profit.

You’ve got an interesting point there. But unless you’re running on affiliate programs for your income, it would be in my opinion waste of money to buy a traffic. Specially for CPM. Thanks for article!
